American Airlines launching India codeshare partnership with IndiGo

American Airlines has sealed a codeshare partnership with India based IndiGo. It enables American’s customers to book onward connections on 29 of IndiGo’s domestic routes within India.
It is expected to start in October, as American Airlines begins new service between New York JFK and Delhi at the end of next month. It is also launching flights from Seattle to Bengaluru in early 2022.
The codeshare pact allows American’s AAdvantage loyalty members to earn miles when traveling on American codeshare flights operated by IndiGo.
