American Cruise Lines has revealed the name of its latest ship under construction.
Currently taking shape at Chesapeake Shipbuilding in Maryland, the coastal cruiser will be named American Constitution.
American Constitution will be delivered in 2018 and is a sister ship to American Constellation which launches in May this year.
Accommodating 175 guests, the new ship will feature balcony staterooms.
It will join American Constellation sailing the Pacific Northwest and Alaska in 2018.
Full details of that deployment will be announced at a later date, the line said.
‘We are committed to continue building new ships which will meet today’s guest expectations for comfort, spacious staterooms and modern amenities,’ said Tim Beebe, vice president of American Cruise Lines.
