Anantara and Kempinski sign joint venture
Asia Pacific hotel group, Anantara Hotels & Resorts, has signed a joint venture with Kempinski Hotels & Resorts to open properties in Europe and Asia.
Anantara will help find development opportunities for Kempinski in Asia, while Kempinski will help find opportunities for Anantara in the Mediterranean basin.
Over the next 10 years, Anantara Resorts expects to grow to at least 40 resorts in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
Anantara Hotels has already developed a close association with Kempinski through the creation of Anantara Spas in Kempinski hotels in the Middle East, Africa and China.
