Anthem of the Seas leaves shipyard
German shipyard Meyer Werft has formally handed over Royal Caribbean’s new ship Anthem of the Seas, the second in Royal’s Quantum class.
The ship will be inaugurated in Southampton on April 20, christened by Thomson travel agent Emma Wilby, and will then sail European itineraries until the autumn.
In November, the 18-deck, 4,200-passenger Anthem will sail to arrive at Cape Liberty, New Jersey to sail the Caribbean.
Standout features of Anthem include the RipCord by iFLY skydiving simulator, 30 bars and restaurants, and a SeaPlex which houses bumper cars, a roller disco, a circus school, and other sports.
