Astronaut Dr Story Musgrave, who flew on all the US space shuttles, will tell travel companies what the first space tourists will see and experience during his keynote speech at a travel conference in Sofia in March.
Helping agents to understand and sell space flights, the first of which are due to be launched by Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic later this year, Musgrave will talk of his own experiences in orbit.
The Trends & Innovations Travel Distribution & Investment Summit on March 15 – 17 will include a session titled Death of the Traditional Travel Agent including survival tips, an online marketing session, trends in travel technology and online travel market trends in Europe.
