Korean airline Asiana is facing another lawsuit from passengers from the San Francisco crash of 2013.
Three Chinese passengers died and more than 180 suffered injuries aboard the Boeing 777 after it clipped a sea wall on approach at SFO.
The latest class action suit involves 53 Asiana passengers who are seeking a combined $30 million in damages for injuries and mental distress.
This is the first lawsuit to be filed in South Korea.
All previous lawsuits involving 72 passengers were brought in the US and were settled for undisclosed amounts.
The plaintiffs include 27 South Koreans, 25 Chinese and one Indian, and according to their lawyer, individual settlement negotiations are currently taking place.
Lawyer Jason Ha also said the passengers are likely to file a separate claim in the US against plane maker Boeing.
Under Montreal Convention rules, claims for damages relating from air crashes must be initiated within two years.
