Avani Hotels & Resorts has expanded its footprint in Laos with the opening of Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel, bringing the brand’s premium lifestyle hospitality concept to the country’s capital.
Located on Fa Ngum Road overlooking Chao Anouvong Park and the Mekong River, the 197-room hotel is designed to appeal to both business and leisure travelers seeking a modern base in central Vientiane.
The opening marks Avani’s second property in Laos, following the launch of Avani+ Luang Prabang, and strengthens the brand’s presence in Southeast Asia.
The hotel combines contemporary accommodations with flexible work and social spaces, dining venues, wellness facilities, and meeting and event spaces.
Guest accommodations range from Deluxe Rooms to a Presidential Suite, with layouts designed for both productivity and relaxation. Interiors feature clean lines, warm contemporary décor, and efficient use of space in keeping with Avani’s modern lifestyle brand.
The hotel is opening in phases, with a selection of guest rooms, restaurants, leisure facilities, and meeting venues available from launch. Additional amenities will be introduced over the coming months.
Dining concepts rolling out in stages
Food and beverage will be a key focus of the property, with four distinct dining venues scheduled to open throughout 2026.
Mekong Mosaic, which opened on July 1, serves international comfort food alongside Lao specialties. The all-day dining restaurant features live cooking stations, wellness-focused menu options, as well as in-room and poolside dining.
Later in the third quarter, Sabaidee Social will debut as a Mediterranean-inspired tapas bar offering casual dining, cocktails, and live entertainment.
The Pantry will provide a relaxed café and co-working space serving specialty coffee, pastries, desserts, and grab-and-go meals throughout the day.
Completing the lineup in the fourth quarter, Salongxay will introduce an upscale Thai-Lao dining experience featuring contemporary interpretations of regional dishes paired with an extensive wine selection.
The hotel’s wellness facilities are also being introduced gradually. Guests currently have access to an outdoor swimming pool and fitness center, while the signature AvaniSpa and additional wellness experiences will be added before the property’s full opening.
Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane is also positioning itself as a meetings and events venue in the Lao capital.
Its centerpiece, Lanexang Hall, can accommodate up to 320 guests for conferences, banquets, and celebrations. Additional meeting rooms and outdoor event spaces are available, with the complete meetings offering to be rolled out in phases.
The hotel also incorporates Avani’s sustainability initiatives through the use of locally sourced ingredients, partnerships with regional producers and artisans, seasonal menus, efforts to reduce single-use plastics, and environmentally conscious operational practices.
