BA sells London travel clinic
British Airways has agreed to sell its Travel Clinic business to MASTA, the Medical Advisory Services for Travellers Abroad.
The central London clinic will close from August 18. After this date, the business will be transferred to MASTA, who will become BA’s Preferred Partner for travel health services.
The Travel Clinic, at 213 Piccadilly, provides travel health advice and treatment to the travelling public, including an immunisation service and a wide range of anti-malarial drugs.
The clinic sees approximately 28,000 customers per year and provides over 34,000 inoculations, including Yellow Fever and Hepatitis A.
MASTA is a travel health provider with a network of travel clinics across the UK.
It already operates a clinic in Oxford Circus at 52 Margaret Street, close to the BA clinic.
