Bali earthquake kills three people
Bali’s Disaster Mitigation Agency said three people died and 16 suffered injuries following a 4.8-magnitude earthquake. Damage was reported in the two districts of Karangasem and Bangli and was felt across the island, as well as neighbouring Lombok.
Deaths and injuries were in the villages of Trunyan, Suter, and Peninjoan. Fatalities included a child aged three. The earthquake triggered landslides blocking road access to villages.
