Bali Police have announced plans to increase the presence of tourism police at all tourism attractions in Bali.

Quoting local media, Bali Update (www.balidiscovery.com) reported that tourism police will be deployed across all attractions, with at least 100 additional uniformed police focusing their crime prevention along Kuta Beach.

“Kuta will get 100 officers because that area has the highest crime rates compared with other tourist destinations in Bali,” said a local police chief.

In addition to more police personnel at tourism attractions, there are also plans to install extra CCTV surveillance cameras in areas popular with tourists.
