Bmi passengers can now book their seats in advance on all of the airline’s longer-haul flights.
The airline has upgraded its systems to allow Advance Seat Assignment (ASA) on all mid-haul and long-haul flights across all classes, including redemptions.
This means customers can choose their seat at the time of booking, both through direct and GDS channels.
However, customers cannot use ASA to select emergency exit
row seats, or any other seats the airline specifically chooses to block.
Seat selection or changes at check-in are still possible for all customers, although it is likely that customers will have less flexibility because more seats will have already been pre-assigned.
