Thursday, 14 Mar, 2002 0

bmibaby has announced its ninth international destination from East Midlands Airport to Ibiza, the party capital of the Balearic Islands, as well as details of an extra service to Faro.

The new destination will be served five times a week from 15 May 2002, with daily services except Tuesdays and Saturdays. Fares will be from £25 one way.

Commenting on the new destination, Tony Davis, managing director, bmibaby said: “The addition of this new destination means that bmibaby now has over twice as many international destinations than the other low cost airline at East Midlands Airport.”

Mr Davis also said that due to overwhelming demand the airline will be increasing services to Faro from five to six a week, with an additional Tuesday flight.
