Brit jailed in Singapore for breaking quarantine
Nigel Skea, 52 was sentenced to a two-week prison term and a S$1,000 fine for sneaking out of his quarantine hotel room. He didn’t leave the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore but sneaked off to meet his then-fiance staying at the hotel on a non-quarantined floor.
Now-wife Agatha Maghesh Eyamalai was also jailed for a week. Both had pleaded guilty to offences under Singapore’s strict Infectious Diseases Act.
