Caesars to spend USD400 million on AC hotel casino upgrades
Caesars Entertainment will spend big to revamp its Atlantic City hotel casinos. It will invest about $400 million to renovate three A.C. properties over the next three years.
Caesars, Harrah’s Resort and Tropicana Atlantic City will be refurbished starting with $170million spent on rooms and suites at Caesars and Harrah’s. The company will unveil details of the makeovers later this year.
Although it has suffered along with rival casino operators since the beginning of the pandemic, the company remains cautiously positive about a full recovery.
"We remain bullish on Atlantic City, and this commitment will further position us for long-term growth and success," Caesars Entertainment Chief Operating Officer Anthony Carano.
