Canada to launch vaccine passport scheme later this year
Canada is set to roll out a nationwide Covid-19 vaccine passport scheme in the fall. It will be utilized for international travel as the federal government said it is working with provinces to develop a workable system.
Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, said it will be a digital certification system but will have a paper-based option. LeBlanc said provinces could also utilize it domestically for entry into venues and other facilities.
