Carnival unveils name of newest ship

Carnival Cruise Line has named its newest ship Carnival Horizon.

The 133,500-ton ship, scheduled for delivery in March 2018, will be its second Vista-class ship alongside Carnival Vista, which began sailing in May this year.

The cruise line said Carnival Horizon will have many of the facilities on Carnival Vista (pictured here) but also promised a ‘number of new innovations unique to this vessel’.

Itinerary details will be announced at a later date.
