Hong Kong based Cathay Pacific has announced a relocation at New York’s JFK to Terminal 8 from next week.
With the move from Terminal 7, effective from January 15, the airline is touting a more seamless travel experience for customers connecting with oneworld partner, American Airlines, which has a large presence in terminal 8.
"The first-rate amenities available, in addition to the significant connectivity advantages that the move brings, will further enhance the delivery of our brand promise of a Life Well Travelled," said James Ginns, Cathay Pacific director of service delivery.
Cathay’s Marco Polo Club members can use American Airlines’ Admirals Club or the Flagship Lounge in the terminal.
Cathay operates the most non-stop flights between Hong Kong and New York and a total of 108 scheduled flights each week from Hong Kong to North America including Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
