Cathay Pacific’s new Seattle service to go daily
Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific has announced its upcoming Seattle nonstop service will go daily from July 2019.
The route is yet to launch but the airline is bullish on its success, thanks to pre-launch market demand.
The four-times-weekly service officially kicks off on 31 March 2019 and becomes the only direct flight connecting Hong Kong and Seattle.
Cathay will up the frequency to daily service from 1 July 2019, adding flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Hong Kong.
The airline is operating its new Airbus A350-900 aircraft on the route.
Seattle becomes the carrier’s eight US destination after Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York JFK, Newark, San Francisco and Washington DC.
