CDC adds Puerto Rico, Guam to Covid high risk travel advisory
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated its travel advisories and put US territories Puerto Rico and Guam in its highest risk tier. Puerto Rico and Guam ‘Level 4: Covid-19 Very High’ list, along with St Lucia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, North Macedonia and Switzerland.
Destinations are placed in the Level 4 category if they have reported more than 500 new Covid-19 cases per 100,000 residents over the past 28 days. Americans should avoid travel to these destinations, the CDC says.
