Celebrity unveils key dates for new ship
Celebrity Cruises will take delivery of Celebrity Equinox on July 16.
Unveiling key dates leading to the launch of the ship, the cruise line said Celebrity Equinox will leave the Meyer Werft shipyard on June 6.
But it will remain dockside until June 19-20, when the ship will make its conveyance along the banks of the River Ems from Papenburg, Germany, to Emshaven in Holland.
Followed by inspections and a series of promotional activities for press and trade, the vessel will enter service on July 31 with an eight-night Norwegian Fjords cruise from Southampton.
