Child dies on ride at Colorado amusement park

A Colorado amusement park has temporarily closed after a six year old girl died on a ride. The girl tragically died on the Haunted Mine Drop ride at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs, CO. It happened during the Labor Day holiday weekend.
The park will be closed for at least two days with an investigation underway. Neither the park or the Garfield County Coroner’s Office has yet disclosed how the girl died or what caused the accident.
