A poll by Air China has found 24% of Brits have China at the top of their bucket list.

The survey of 2,000 people found China beat Singapore (20%) Bali (16%), and South Korea (10%).

Although nine in 10 Brits have never been to China, 68% said the Great Wall of China was the place they would most like to visit.

This is followed by Terracotta Army in Xi’an (53%) and the enchanting Forbidden City in Beijing (51%).

But the poll also found low awareness among Brits of China’s natural wonderd.

Only one in 10 Brits have heard of the picturesque Li River in Guilin and only 4% know of the Beaches of Qingdao.
