CMV gives Daniels new role on return from maternity leave
Michelle Daniels has returned to Cruise and Maritime Voyages from maternity leave to take the newly-developed role of group and international sales manager.
Daniels will be responsible for developing the specialist group business and increasing the international tour operator business, including the company’s North American and Australian sales offices.
Before leaving to have a baby, she was sales manager for the cruise line, heading up the retail and tour operator business and overseeing sales and customer services.
This role has been taken by Tricia Regan, general sales manager, who will focus on UK tour operators, while the rest of the responsibilities were distributed throughout the sales team.
Daniels has worked for CMS for nine years, since Cruise and Maritime Services was established in 2004.
"Currently our international sales and group business accounts for a small percentage of overall business and we want to change that," she said.
"With the recent opening of our Australian sales office we are looking to see strong interest from other worldwide markets and the specialist group business will introduce new audiences. Marco Polo and Discovery are ideal for group where there are facilities perfectly suited for get-togethers and activities."
