Costa Cruises names new President
Mario Zanetti has been appointed as Costa Cruises’ new President.
Zanetti takes over from Michael Thamm, Group CEO of Costa Group and Carnival Asia, who has been filling in on an interim basis since last year.
Zanetti joined Costa mroe than 20 years ago.
Three years ago he was appointed President of Costa Asia and then became Chief Commercial Officer last summer.
Roberto Alberti will assume Zanetti’s previous role as CCO.
Alberti was previoulsy SVP and Chief Strategy Officer for Costa Group.
"The pause in our ship operations has been an opportunity to work on enhancing the Costa organisation to make our company stronger, ready for the restart with renewed energy, a clear commercial strategy and a greater customer-centric approach," Thamm said in a statement.
