Tracey Crouch has been reappointed as sport, tourism and heritage minister.
The Conservative MP for Chatham and Aylesford said she had received a call confirming the move during the England v France game and had missed a goal by Harry Kane.
Crouch was a member of the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee from 2012 to 2015.
In May 2015 she was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Sport, Tourism and Heritage.
Her reappointment is part of a reshuffle by Prime Minister Theresa May following last week’s general election.
