Cruise Holidays adds five new stores
Cruise Holidays added five new stores to its franchise network in the second quarter of 2004.
Two of the new Cruise Holidays store owners are long-time travel veterans, Sandra and David Lovick, and their son, David Lovick, Jr., who have owned several Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associate agencies.
Three other new stores were launched by entrepreneurs from outside the industry.
“Whether our new stores owners are long-time industry veterans or they’re savvy business people who are lending their skills to this industry for the first time, they are attracted to us because we provide entrepreneurs with the knowledge, tools and support they need,” said Charles J. Dunwoody, senior vice president of Cruise Holidays.
He said Cruise Holidays is the only North American cruise-specialty travel agency chain set up to target and support agency start-ups, particularly business people new to the cruise-selling industry.
