Cruise1st docks in Australia
Cruise1st, the UK-based line retail operation, plans to expand its offshore operations beyond Australia next year.
Founder and general manager Dan Townsley has China on his wish list once expansion in Europe is completed next year.
Townsley said Australia, with English as the common language, was an obvious choice for the company’s first offshore venture.

He said Cruise1st will grow new markets in Australia and elsewhere as people in the UK who had never cruised before account for 45 percent of its bookings.

Said Kenny Picken, managing director of UK technology provider Traveltek,
‘We recognised the opportunities in cruise across the UK and in international markets and have built a dynamic global packaging system for Cruise1st.â€â€¨â€¨
