Cruisingexcursions.com has appointed former TUI director John Wimbleton as chairman.
Simon Purchase has resigned as a director to pursue other commercial interests and relinquished his shareholding to a travel industry group including Chris Photi and Richard Knight.
General manager Simonne Fairbanks has been promoted to chief operating officer and appointed to the board of directors.
Wimbleton, who was previously managing director of the specialist and activity sector at TUI, holds various industry positions including vice chairman of Scott Dunn, non-executive director at European Travel Ventures and a travel industry adviser for Catalyst Corporate Finance.
