Customers complain of missing tickets as travel firm ceases trading
The CAA is trying to identify forward bookings after Sea Breeze Holidays selling flight-only and package holidays ceased trading.
The authority believes there were approximately 350 forward bookings when the ATOL-holding travel firm collapsed.
The operator, based in Greenford, Middlesex, also traded as About Travel, Seabreeze Travels, Flight Hunters and Flights n Flights.
Sea Breeze Holidays, which was established in 2001, said it specialised in Asia and employed more than 11 staff on its LinkedIn profile.
It has an Air Travel Forum page dedicated to it on Trip Advisor entitled ‘Seabreeze Holidays.com – NEVER EVER USE’ where customers complain about bad customer service and tickets not being issued.
The CAA said customers should check the validity of their tickets with airlines before travelling. It will publish a claim form and guidance shortly.
