Delta Air Lines say it has completed the roll-out of Wi-Fi on its entire long-haul international fleet.
This gives passengers connectivity on more than 200 daily flights to Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and South America.
The carrier says it is the only US airline to offer Wi-Fi on its entire long-haul international route network.
It includes installation of Gogo’s high-speed Ku-Band satellite tech on Delta’s Boeing 747, Boeing 777, Boeing 767, international Boeing 757-200 and Airbus A330 fleets.
"We’ve invested billions of dollars in making our customers feel more at home in the sky through comfort, connectivity and entertainment. Completion of international Wi-Fi installation means our customers are more connected than ever when flying to the more than 50 countries we serve around the world," said Joe Kiely, managing director – product and customer experience.
Delta began installing Wi-Fi on domestic jets in 2008 and its first international aircraft in 2012.
