There is a new ‘wildlife’ attraction gaining traction with tourists in New York.
Visitors are booking night-time walking tours to see the Big Apple’s rats.
The New York Post claims tourists are going on tours of rat infested corners of New York City.
Real New York Tours added a stop on its city tours to stake out rodents near Chinatown.
“They are like the new celebs in New York City,” owner Luke Miller said.
The city has long had a rodent problem and this year appointed a ‘rat czar; to clean up the streets.
The city also issued new rules for storing and the collecting garbage and the first Anti-Rat Day of Action was held in Harlem recently.
