DMC NexusTours offers carbon-neutral transfers
North and Central America DMC NexusTours just unveiled a partnership with EcoCart.
The collaboration will allow Nexus’ guests to ride in carbon-neutral last mile transfers across the region.
The service is available for e-commerce purchases made on NexusTours.com and other affiliated white label platforms.
EcoCart is a sustainability platform that calculates and offsets carbon emissions.
It makes NexusTours the first DMC in Latin America, North America, and the Caribbean to offer this service.
Travelers can take advantage of the carbon-neutral option on NexusTours.com and other white label platforms managed by the company, such as Royalton Luxury Resorts.
The initiative allows customers to contribute just a few dollars to offset their carbon footprint, with all proceeds supporting various social and environmental projects around the globe.
These projects include reforestation efforts.
Rubén Gutiérrez, President of GoNexus Group, said: “This bold step demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and leadership in the travel sector.”
