easyCruise confirms ‘alternative Aegean’ itinerary
easyCruise has detailed a new itinerary for next year taking in the Greek islands.
The ship easyCruiseOne will sail from Athens taking in Mykonos, Paros and Ios as well as off the beaten track islands of Milos, Amorgos, Naxos, Folegandros, Sifnos and Serifos.
The itinerary, which allows passengers to take anything from a weekend break to a two-week holiday, starts on May 31 until October 18 with prices leading in at £30 per person for a three nights, based on two people sharing a standard cabin.
The budget cruise line’s founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou said: “There is so much to see and do in Greece and Athens in particular has changed a lot over the last few years, especially after the Olympics held in Athens in 2004.
“The new itinerary is also unique – it is the only way you can visit up to 11 different islands in one go, a number of which have been previously unexplored as holiday destinations and we are confident that the itineraries will prove very popular with customers.”
“The easyCruise philosophy has always been to bring new and exciting locations to our customers, so it is the perfect time to explore a new part of the world.
“easyCruiseOne has spent two summer season’s sailing the French & Italian Riviera, which has been hugely successful, and now the new Greek flexible itineraries will allow passengers to experience the alternative Aegean.”
