For the first time, easyJet holidays will offer a river cruise package holiday to Luxor, with seven-night Nile River cruises in partnership with Jaz Hotels and Resorts.

It sails from Luxor to Edfu and on to Aswan.

In addition, easyJet holidays has also put city breaks on sale to the Norwegian city of Tromso, offering the chance to take in the Northern Lights or whale watching.

EasyJet holidays has ten handpicked hotels available to book.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said: “We are thrilled to be inaugurating two brand new routes and to resume our service to Luxor.”

“These new additions offer something for everyone with great value fares and package holidays.”

EasyJet is London Gatwick’s largest airline and the largest base in its network.

Earlier this year the airline celebrated carrying 250 million passengers to and from the airport since it started flying there in December 1999.
