Easyjet to unveil plans for a 50% reduction in CO2 emissions
Easyjet chief executive Andy Harrison will later this week unveil the airline’s plans for a 50% reduction in aircraft CO2 emissions by 2015.
At a special press conference tomorrow(Thursday), he is due to unveil “an important environmental milestone for aviation”.
Harrison will later give the keynote address at the IEA Low Cost Airline Summit, being held at London’s Waldorf Hilton.
His speech is entitled ‘In defence of the low cost carrier – responding to environmental concerns’.
