Ebookers policy to fully refund ash cloud cancellations

Tuesday, 04 Jun, 2010 0

Online travel agent Ebookers has launched a volcanic ash protection package that covers travellers who flights are cancelled because of the ash cloud.

The 100% Package Protection scheme covers any package made with Ebookers and cancelled in advance and a full refund will be made.

Head of offline marketing and CRM Steven Rice said: “This new initiative aims to ease any worry customers may have about incurring costs if the volcano was to affect their booking before departure. We are delighted by the response from our customers to this initiative and have had a multitude of positive comments and feedback.”
