Canyonlands Field Institute is offering courses to train river guides this spring in Moab, Utah. A beginner River Skills class is being offered April 2-4, 2010 while the Swiftwater River Rescue course is held April 9-11, 2010. Both courses include an overnight river trip on Westwater Canyon and intensive training. Open to adults and youth. Previous experience necessary for the Swiftwater Rescue Course.
