Enterprise airport expansion pays off

Monday, 23 Dec, 2002 0

Enterprise Rent-A-Car claims its expansion into major US airports is paying dividends.

The company said it attracts more holidaymakers and business travellers from smaller companies.

Enterprise’s vice president of rental development Rob Hibbard said it now had a presence at 115 airports in North America.

He said the agency community remained relatively untapped and it was considering marketing to travel agencies in North America.

Hibbard said the company would continue to expand at the rate of two locations per month during 2003.

The company is estimated to have a 3.3% market share at US domestic airports.
