Eurostar cancels more trains
Eurostar has announced more train cancellations this week as the chaos at Paris Gare du Nord continues.
It is still advising travellers not to travel to the French capital unless absolutely necessary as customs staff continue their industrial action.
It warned customers of queues of more than five hours at the station as workers stage ‘Brexit-style’ checks to back up their demands for additional staffing and better pay once the UK leaves the European Union.
As well as cancellations already confirmed for today and tomorrow (Wednesday), the rail operator has now cancelled two services on Thursday and three on Friday.
Anyone travelling on those dates can change their ticket free of charge to a future date, or claim a full refund.
