Executive Travel renews Galileo contract

Sunday, 09 Feb, 2009 0

Irish travel management company Executive Travel Group has renewed a contract to use Galileo for a further three years.

The move by the company, recently acquired by Carlson Wagonlit Travel, follows a competitive review of GDS providers.

Dublin-based Executive Travel has been a customer of Galileo – part of Travelport GDS – for 30 years.

Company spokesman Arthur Harrow said: “Over the years we have established a good working relationship with Travelport and appreciate the support we have received from the local team.

“The products, technology and support available have continuously been of a high standard, and we felt there was no need to take our business elsewhere.”
