Expedia gives Barnardos kids a hand
Online travel company, Expedia.com.au has joined Barnardos Australia in an exclusive charity partnership.
The partnership forms an integral part of Expedia’s community engagement activities.
Nicholas Chu, managing director, Expedia Australia and New Zealand, said the partnership gives Expedia employees the opportunity to provide support to Barnardos in a tangible way, “and see and feel the difference they are making to the lives of Australian children and young peopleâ€.
Expedia’s commitment to Barnardos includes several employee volunteering opportunities, school holiday outings, movie trips, pamper days and sports event hosting.
It also includes assistance to the Barnardos digital team, social media support and mentoring of school children to assist with transitioning to the workforce.
Expedia employees will also support Barnardos with direct tax deductible donations from pre-tax salaries.
