Visitors to Marrakech are being advised of possible travel disruption when the city hosts the UN Climate Change conference next month.

Around 25,000 people are expected to attend the conference on November 7-18.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office warned visitors it could be difficult to find hotel rooms and said there will be a high security presence in the city and at the airport.

"You should factor in additional travel time, particularly if you are flying out of Marrakech airport," it advised.
