Monday, 11 Nov, 2004 0

The InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta became the first newly built luxury hotel to enter the market since 1991.

Said Steve Porter, president, Intercontinental Hotels Group, The Americas:

“This flagship property will bring the international flair of InterContinental to the city of Atlanta and to the Buckhead business community.”

The 401-room, high-rise, $115 hotel is along Atlanta’s most famous address, Peachtree Road.

The hotel is the first US location of a popular Parisian brasserie, Au Pied de Cochon, open 24-hours.

The hotel also has 31,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
