A high profile group of AFL footballers were banned from Thailand for 24 hours earlier this week after their behaviour on board a Thai Airways flight caused complaints from fellow passengers.

St Kilda hero Fraser Gehrig , Brisbane Lions’ stars Jonathan Brown, Justin Leppitsch, Tim Notting , Lions assistant coach Craig Lambert and retired Saint Steve Lawrence were all stopped at Bangkok International Airport and forced to fly back to Australia.

Incredibly, both Brisbane Lions and St Kilda management chose to distance themselves fron the drama, claiming the individuals were on a private holiday and therefore it was not a club matter.
