Former M&S and Waitrose director joins Advantage
Advantage Travel Centres has appointed Steven Esom as its first external non-executive chairman.
Esom previously held posts including executive director of food at Marks and Spencer, managing director of Waitrose and non-executive director of Carphone Warehouse.
He is currently chairman of BRCT, part of the British Retail Consortium.
As chairman of the Advantage board of directors Esom’s role will be to improve the effectiveness of the organisation, lead it through the next stage of development, and use his experience to support and guide the central team towards enhanced business excellence.
