Luxury operator Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will make its debut in Vietnam later this year when it takes over management of the The Nam Hai, in the UNESCO world heritage town of Hoi An.
Four Seasons will assume management of The Nam Hai on December 20.
The resort features 40 private villa residences and 60 newly-renovated resort villas, located just 30 minutes from Da Nang International Airport.
Amenities include three swimming pools, three dining venues, a Vietnamese cooking school, a fitness centre and tennis courts.
Current renovations to the resort will add a new beach bar, kids club, water sport amenities and a new luxury spa.
"Vietnam is an important growth market for Four Seasons and this is a unique opportunity to quickly establish a presence in the country’s top resort destination," said J. Allen Smith, president and CEO, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
"We are excited to mark our entry into Vietnam with such a desirable location and a luxury product that will appeal to regional and international travellers, as well as private residence owners."
The resort was built a decade ago and is owned by Singapore firm Hotel Properties Ltd and Dubai-based ASB Development.
