France lifts testing rule for fully-jabbed UK travellers

Vaccinated travellers from the UK can now enter France without a Covid-19 test.
French consul-general to London Gullaume Bazar announced the change just after the UK lifted testing for fully-vaccinated arrivals.
As the UK is on France’s orange list, unvaccinated arrivals must produce a negative Covid-19 test result and still provide a reason for travel.
The Foreign Office has now updated its travel guidance.
However travellers could still face travel disruption.
Nearly 100 people were arrested in Paris in the ‘freedom convoy ‘attempting to bring the city to a standstill.
Inspired by Canadian truckers’ protests, French demonstrators have converged on Lille en route to Brussels to blockade the Belgian capital.
Belgian authorities have banned all demonstrations in Brussels with ‘motorised vehicles’ and say they have taken appropriate measures to keep protestors out.
