Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines bringing back Greenland cruises

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines unveiled its full cruise programme for 2027, featuring a return to Greenland.

It comprises 70 sailings between January and September departing from Southampton, Liverpool, Newcastle and Rosyth.

Highlights include the return of scenic sailings through Greenland.

Borealis’ 14-night ‘Exploring Rugged & Remote Greenland’ cruise sails through the Prins Christiansund, surrounded by towering cliffs and fjords in one of Greenland’s most scenic regions.

There are guided kayak trips or boat tours to the Qooroq Ice Fjord for close-up views of icebergs.

It also includes calls at Tórshavn, Faroe Islands and Reykjavík, Iceland.

Other notable voyages include a cruise timed with Malta’s vibrant carnival, and a unique itinerary visiting nine Northern European countries in just 13 nights.

Guests can also choose from an expanded selection of shorter cruises – five nights or fewer – scheduled around UK bank holidays.

Martin Lister, Head of Product Innovation at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said: “There are some incredible destinations on offer, like Greenland, which is back by popular demand, Scotland’s wild isles, and the untouched beauty of Svalbard for those who love exploring.”

“We’ve also included moments at the top of so many travellers’ lists – from husky sledding under the Northern Lights and spotting humpback whales in the Atlantic, to sailing through Norway’s scenic waterways.”

Guests booking by 30th October can take advantage of Fred. Olsen’s Freedom Fare Price Promise.

If a lower fare or additional benefits – such as onboard spending or drinks packages – are introduced later, Fred. Olsen will honour the difference with a complimentary cabin upgrade or onboard credit.
