French cruise line to make UK debut
French cruise line Compagnie du Ponant will operate a series of voyages out of the UK for the first time next summer.
Its 226-passenger expedition ship Le Diamant will be positioned in the UK during July and August 2011.
It will operate five seven-night round-trip voyages from Portsmouth calling at Cobh, Dublin and Waterford in Ireland, Holyhead, Wales, the Isles of Scilly and St Malo, France.
Two 12-night voyages will also take in Foynes, Galway, and Killybegs in Ireland, Iona, Tobermory, Kirkwall, and Leith in Scotland, Portree, Isle of Sky, and Whitby.
