G Adventures expands in Asia, Africa

G Adventures has added a selection of new ‘Classic’ trips to its portfolio of adventures for 2025, with expanded Asia tours.

The tour operator has brought back tours in Tibet and expanded its itineraries in China and South Korea to meet demand.

There is also new value-for-money safaris in Africa and multi-country trips in Central America that were only previously available to travellers aged up to 39.

Yves Marcaeu, VP of product at G Adventures, says the expansion of trips for all ages in Africa and Central America is a result of market research identifying an increasingly older customer segment.

“We could clearly see the time is right to open up longer, more basic itineraries to an older crowd looking to see and do as much as they can.”

“We certainly have a segment of customers who are growing older, yet still looking for a more exploratory style of adventure.”

G Adventures is bringing Tibet back for the first time since before the pandemic, as China relaxes its visa policy.

The company is introducing a new Classic tour that can also be combined with Japan, which remains extremely popular.

In Africa, the new Classic trip will feature G Adventures’ fully refurbished fleet of ‘Lando’ overland vehicles.

In Central America, accommodation will remain basic, but the expanding of the age ranges means travellers older than 39 will now be able to explore deeper.

This includes new options for older travellers in El Salvador and Honduras.

New trips now available to book include:

Johannesburg to East Africa Overland Safari – Lasting 27 days through seven countries on an epic overland journey from Johannesburg to Nairobi.

Korea and Japan Encompassed – Two weeks through South Korea and Japan visiting iconic destinations.
